An arranged marriage to a U.S. citizen leaves Sookhy (Korean superstar Song) sitting pretty, with an upwardly mobile husband, spacious suburban home, and only the inconvenience of a live-in mother-in-law. But all is not as it seems, and Sookhy may have inherited the supernatural powers of her own mother, a famous and feared Korean shaman. The attractive couple next door comes calling and the withdrawn newlywed comes out of her shell as this psychological thriller builds toward an identity crisis with some fatal repercussions.
