The Foundation for Asian American Independent Media (FAAIM) and The Gene Siskel Film Center present The 25 Annial Asian American Showcase, April 16-30. Enjoy the freewheeling diversity of independent dramas, comedies, and documentaries, including selected screenings with filmmakers in person. Show opening reception at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 17. Off-site special events include the kickoff comedy night Finally FAAIMous on April 16, and Talk Stories on April 22.

For their essential role in making the Asian American Showcase possible, The Foundation for Asian American Independent Media (FAAIM) thanks The Gene Siskel Film center and the founding FAAIM members Sooyoung Park, Ben Kim, and William Shin.



Ticket Information:

General Admission: $12

Friday Matinee (films before 6pm): $8

Students: $7
Valid student ID required. Discounted tickets must be purchased in person at the box office.

There is no senior admission price for individual tickets. However, seniors receive a $5 discount on Film Center membership.

There is no late seating 20 minutes after the film's listed start time.

Parking

Validated parking is available at the InterPark Self-Park at 20 E. Randolph, which is across the street from Macy's (there's also an entrance on Wabash near the corner of Randolph). Parking is $20 for 16 hours with a validation ticket, which can be obtained from the box office. There is also limited street parking after 6:00 PM on Lake Street and Wabash Avenue.
